With only twelve minutes left, Aitken’s misstep while overtaking slower GTD PRO class cars allowed Tandy to seize the lead after Aitken went off-track. Tandy extended this lead to a comfortable 5.764 seconds at the checkered flag, shared with co-driver Mathieu Jaminet. This victory not only marked the 100th sports car racing win for Team Penske but also represented Porsche’s 600th and 601st victories in IMSA competitions, demonstrating the teams' enduring prowess and strategy in motor racing.
